The Courageous Ground Task Force will be hosting a special “Heart and Soul” coffee hour in celebration of Black History Month and the Feast Day of Absalom Jones. Additionally, there will be a special mass in celebration of the Feast of Absalom Jones at St. Barnabas Church on February 18 at 2:00 PM. Gifts to the Absalom Jones Fund, in support of Historically Black Colleges and Universities Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Voorhees University in Denmark, South Carolina, are welcomed.
