Join us this summer for adult formation as we study issues of the day through a Gospel-based lens.
Beginning on June 23rd, we will begin looking at the issue of immigration and how it has changed over the last ten years. Through the book The Line Becomes a River, we will be asking how the Gospel is calling us to respond to migrants and asylum seekers in our area. Our discussion and study of this book is not intended to answer a partisan political question; rather, it is to help us discern what the Gospel has to say about radical hospitality and how we are called as disciples of Jesus to welcome the stranger in our midst.
For the month of August, we will be studying the lessons from the lectionary using a conversational model that invites us deeper into the Scriptures. Join us each week as we listen for God’s still, small voice in and through a conversational Bible study.
