The season of Lent has long been a season in which we are invited to reconnect with the Divine and to seek reconciliation. As a way of exploring how the Church can be a vehicle for reconciliation through contextual missional ministry, Church of the Epiphany is embarking on a study of six blessings for missional ministry with the help of The Rev. Eric H. F. Law’s book Holy Currencies: 6 Blessings for Sustainable Missional Ministries.
On the Wednesdays between Ash Wednesday (February 26) and Holy Week (April 5-11), we will consider the six blessings Law offers and consider how we might be able to use those same blessings as means for listening to God’s call to our parish.
We will gather in the parish hall at 6:00PM for a simple (i.e. vegetarian) potluck meal. At 6:30pm, we will dive into the topic of each week and will end no later than 7:30pm. Join us as we listen for the ways that God is calling us to inhabit a future filled with God’s blessings!
