MISSING YOUR EPIPHANY FAMILY AND FRIENDS?
We agree, social distancing, aka Holy spacing, is getting a little old. How would you like an opportunity to enjoy an online get-together, with some of your Epiphany brothers and sisters? Your Connect Council has a plan to help diminish our sense of isolation. We’d like to introduce you to FRIENDSHIP CLUSTERS
Via the magic of Zoom technology, we’d love to have you join in, which is possible with a computer, tablet, smart phone, or even an old-fashioned not-so-smart phone. Instructions will be provided.
Here’s how it will work: First, you sign up online (use the form below!) or via a phone call by May 31st, to let us know you’re interested. Second, everyone will be assigned to a group no larger than 8 people. Third, by June 10, group leaders (exactly whom tbd) will have the names of their group. Your group leader will then contact you and everyone in your group to set up an initial time to meet that works for everyone.
If you have any smart device, you’ll be able to see and hear everyone in the group and have a normal conversation. With a regular phone, you will only be able to hear but you can still participate. It’s a chance to share funny stories, pet pictures, your latest grandchild, or anything you wish. The point is to get to know one another better, and to feel connected to our parish community even though we can’t be together in person.
Friendship Clusters are intended to last for the summer. Depending on each group’s needs, your cluster is invited to meet two or three times between now and the end of summer, but you may meet more often if your group chooses.
We’re excited and hope this plan gets you excited too!
